What is it about the color red that we are attracted to? Historically, it has been the color of courtesans, gypsies and kings. Red is eye-catching when we wear it on our feet and sexy when we tint our lips with it. This month I am featuring the Center-Shirred Dress in tomato red. I first designed this flattering silhouette in 2005, and since its debut I have brought it back many times because of its popularity and easy fit. The V-neckline calls for a stunning necklace when you have a special event. At the office it looks perfectly chic with a great pair of black heels and black cardigan. You will want to leave this dress out for the Spring and Summer seasons as well and wear it with flats. The detailing of shirring, which sits at the smallest part of your torso, works with your curves and the A-line of the skirt will easily flatters your hips. The double-layer of rayon jersey adds body to the fabric. In this dress you too will be eye-catching!
Sometimes falling in love with a dress requires that you see how it moves while walking a dog with the wind in your hair to background music. Have a a look for yourself.
Eat well, laugh a lot and be chic in red!
