“The Devil is in the Details “, is what comes to mind when I think of the Luan coat. It is understated with its zippered closure that is covered by a center front leather placket. The raglan sleeves give the shoulder a seamless appearance and the uncomplicated silhouette conjures up images of Emma Peel in the Avengers (if you don’t know who she is, her look is worth a google search). Simple yes, but the elegance of this design is complimented by the leather details in the Luan. Look closely and you will see not only the clean leather placket at the center front but you will notice the side leather triangle piece as well. The detailing goes on as the sleeve is finished with leather in the under sleeve. The Luan with its sleek lines and leather detail is only enhanced by the fact that it is made in a Loro Piana wool/cashmere (Loro Piana is worth a google search as well). The Luan is $850 and most certainly will be your favorite winter coat for a long time.
