-Stick to the 3-3-1 rule at the airports by putting your favorite moisturizers in small 3-ounce containers into a clear quart size plastic bag. You can always buy what you need when you get to your destination.-Never take a lot of jewelry and never more than 1 heavy coat.
-Always pack each shoe separately in a shoe bag or plastic bag to better utilize space.
-Take a few extra plastic bags with you for dirty laundry.
-Take along a generous size handbag as your second bag.
-Keep earphones, charges and electrical outlet adapters and extra battery together in a soft zip bag.

-Keep your phone on airplane mode as it will save the battery.
-Save money on bottled water by taking an empty water bottle with you through security and fill it up after you are checked through.
-When reserving 2 seats and the configuration is 3 across, purchase the aisle and window seats. If the flight does not go out full chances are that you will have that extra seat to yourselves. Best bet is the last seats in the back as those are usually the last seats purchased.
-When traveling abroad make sure you use credit cards with no exchange fees and always opt to use the ATMs in lieu of the currency exchanges.
-If you travel often or just hate going through those long security lines apply for Global Entry. You fill out a form, show ID and pay about $100. Once you are cleared you go through a shorter line and do not have to remove, belt, shoes, jackets or liquids.
