Shopping online has made our lives easier. We can get anything we want without the hassle of navigating our way to our retail destinations, fighting through crammed clothing racks and then trying on these pieces in lighting that is less than flattering.
However, shopping online is not the paradise we would like it to be.
In today’s video I am going to discuss 3 problems inherent in shopping online and the the best way to address those issues.
I will leave links below for some great brands that won’t break the bank.
If there is a brand you love get on their mailing list as you will be the first to know about flash sales and seasonal sales.
This is a big one! Do we really know our size? I don’t and I work in the industry. I can be a size 4 in one brand and a 10 in another. Those size labels are meaningless. So how do you find the right size for you? You begin with buying a tape measure. Once you have your measurements, check the size chart against your measurements and purchase the item which fits your largest area.
Here is how you take your measurements.
Wear a bra when you take your bust measurement.
Place the tape measure across the largest part of your bustline.
The waist is the smallest part of your lower torso. It is located above your belly button.
Your hip is situated at the widest portion of your buttocks.
~Buying on Sale
Have you ever bought something on the internet because the price was too good to pass up and then never wore it because it just wasn’t right?
Don’t ever do that again! Never buy anything on the internet that is on sale if it is not returnable. You can find things on sale that are returnable. Always check the return policy before you purchase. However, there is one exception to purchasing a final sale item. if you know the fit, brand, and quality, of the garment then have at it!
